           "Yogashchittvrittinirodhah.(2)"
                 " योगश्चित्तव्रत्तिनिरोधः।।2।।"
Yog is stillness of the activities of mind. Mental activity are like waves of thoughts. If one succeeds in totally suspending them, one attains yog.
Means,"restrictions of fluctuations of consciousness". Yoga can help to instinct our mind to diverse in any other field. Practicing yoga in daily life makes you more focused and improves concentration in any work.
Here the meaning of "vrittii" is thoughts of mind or fluctuations, and "chitta" means consciousness. We can not physically touch or see vrittii, but we can experience it by sitting in one pose and focus on our mind. There are many thoughts running in our mind in a one time. It is very difficult to stop these thoughts, but by the use of meditation we can easily control our flow of thoughts. So yoga can help us to stay concentrated and focused in one point.
